Director Kevin Smith Kicked Off Plane for Being Too FatUs Magazine - 1 hour, 36 minutes ago celebs:Bruce WillisRichard Simmons So much for flying the friendly skies. Mallrats director Kevin Smith, 39, was kicked off a Southwest Airlines flight from Oakland, Calif. to Burbank, Calif. over the weekend because of his weight. Edit: Shortly after, he posted a photo of himself puffing out his cheeks and captioned it, "Look how fat I am on your plane! Quick! Throw me off!" ( ^ _ ^ ) Hilarious! HAHAHAHAHAHA! The director also joked with fans, including one who encouraged him to start his own airline. "More room for everyone! If they build it, I'd certainly fly it. 'Fly the Flabby Skies!'" he wrote. ( ^ _ ^ ) Ha! Fly the Flabby Skies! HAHAHAHAHA! Hilarious! Too funny! Smith also mocked "The @SouthwestAir Diet. How it works: you're publicly shamed into a slimmer figure. Crying the weight right off has never been easier!"

Nothing is worse than being stuck in economy class next to a fat guy. But something tells me you have never sat next to this behemoth, who seems to have only managed to get his right ass cheek into his assigned seat. The photo was reportedly taken by a flight attendant on an American Airlines flight to show her managers the problem about supersized passengers who can’t fit into the seats. It’s not clear whether the plane took off with thus dude spilling out of his chair. Some airlines have a policy that requires passengers to buy an additional seat if they can’t fit into a seat and lower the armrests. Unfortunately for the poor guy sitting next to tubby here, American Airlines does not have such a policy. Sounds like it’s about time they did. http://www.justaguything.com/this-is-why-fat-people-should-pay-double-on-airlines/ This Is Why Fat People Should Pay Double on Airlines http://www.justaguything.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/8570F804-9C35-4A60-89FF-796E59F8FF8E.jpg

all he had to do was buy two seats

Facts: 1. He's too fat to fit in one seat. 2. He originally bought two seats because he KNOWS he's too fat to fit in one. 3. He changed his flight at the last minute, to an earlier one, and they didn't have two seats available, so he took just the one, KNOWING that he couldn't fit. 4. Southwest has a very public and well-known policy of not letting people fly if they can't fit into a single seat, because it isn't fair to the person sitting next to them. 5. Regulations do require that you sit IN YOUR SEAT, not in half of the seat next to you. I am a skinny guy who used to lie down across multiple seats and sleep on empty red-eye flights, but they haven't allowed that in years. You have to fit in YOUR seat. Southwest is completely correct. They should have stuck to their guns and said, "Yup, he didn't fit in his seat so we threw him off the plane". Kevin Smith is just another loudmouthed Hollywood elitist who thinks he should be treated specially because he is in the movie business. The fall-out from this is that I will fly Southwest whenever I have the choice, and I'll boycott every film this jerk ever makes.

how much did he weigh?

The airline had every right. He is big ol' man. He almost on the verge of being morbidly obese. He is an inconvenience of the other passengers on the plane. He was also given a hundred dollar voucher. He should have paid for a second seat. The airline doesn't need to accommodate someone who weighs the size of two grown men.
