I have no i.d. for my plane ride to Seattle from Oakland airport but i do have a school i.d.

I have no i.d. for my plane ride to Seattle from Oakland airport but i do have a school i.d.?
WOuld they let me on>?? i bought ticket for me and my dog bought everything for the ride .. Lst time i flew i was 16 and i got on with a school id but! i was with grandparents. Now im 18 i only have a copy of my birth certificate (not a governmant copy) and i called the alaska air hotline thingy and she said i needed a GOVERNMENT copy of either an id, birth certificate, social security card or ca i.d/drivers licence. I have none.. Let me know! i know ots alot to ask but i dont wanna drive all the way to oak and not be able to catch my flight to my new home in Idaho.. (Oak - Seattle Seattle - Pullman/Washington) and my Legal gardian (was my gaurdian) is comming too! you think i didnt try that already.. the person at the dmv was so rude and i need a GOVERNMENT copy of my birthcertificate. and if i had that i wouldnt get my i.d. i would jus go on the plane..

This information provided by the TSA says that a government issued ID is not mandatory if you willingly assist the agents in determining your identity and would be willing to undergo extra screening, (baggage search, physical search). At the least then leave some extra time going to the airport. Also, since you already spoke to your airline and they said you needed a government ID they might not let you check in. I suspect the agent you spoke to was misinformed. Call again and mention the link I posted.

Go the secertry of states office and ask for a State ID card, if you have time before your trip, approx 2 weeks. A driver's lincense will work also. Or if you really have too, get a expedited passport. This will be very expensive, but can have them within days. http://travel.state.gov/passport/about/npic/npic_898.html
